FACTOR is dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian independent recording industry.

The Grass Mountain Hobos

 

The Hobos’ swing, bluegrass, blues, and folk infusion make for a carousing performance with music full of humour and musicality. Grand Dérangement

 

Grand Dérangement is a French Acadian music group from Baie Sainte Marie, Nova Scotia. It is a mix of French traditional music, Celtic, rock and Louisiana rhythms. The Keats

 

The Keats released their debut album “Good to be Home.” a mix of roots, county, and pop with some undeniable sibling harmony that has long been a favorite in country music. Everything Fitz

 

Everything Fitz is a family band featuring the high-energy fiddling and percussive step dancing of four of Canada’s finest young musicians. Their unique stage show combines a variety of musical styles- everything from Celtic, bluegrass, western swing, to entertaining novelty tunes and choreographed step dance routines.  Julie (19), Kerry (18), and Tom (15) are all champion fiddlers and provide intricate 3-part fiddle harmonies as well as solo improvisations on fiddle and mandolin.
